EXPERIENCE

New Construction:  Commercial (office and warehouse spaces), Light Industrial (storage, access ways), Residential (single/multifamily)

Existing Remodel/Tenant Improvements:  Commercial remodels include roof reinforcement for HVAC units, mezzanines, and additions.  Gravity and lateral upgrades of various building types including wood, concrete, steel, and unreinforced masonry (URM).  Evaluation and design of voluntary fall protection measures. Residential remodels including decks, additions, and retaining walls.

Existing Building Observation/Assessment: Performed a variety of engineering observation and inspections for buildings owners, occupants, and buyers.  Inspection types include general observations, damage/repair assessments, and structural reports for financial lending requirements including commercial T.I. loans, ASCE41-13, Probable Maximum Loss studies, and residential FHA loans. Fire escape assessment and observation of testing procedures for certification of service. Certified GQI-Post Earthquake Inspector for State of Oregon.
